Project: SOLEution
Innovative and green solutions for the sole production chain
The SOLEution project, which has seen synergy between two footwear sector companies in the Marche region (Eurosuole S.p.A. and GoldenPlast S.p.A.) and the technology provider AUTEC, has two basic objectives: the study and development of plant-origin polymer compounds for the production of soles and the development of extremely efficient highly automated systems to make polymer sole production more efficient and sustainable.

Sole in Oilfree rubber
Set up autonomously by the Eurosole R&D division, this project saw realisation of a rubber sole made with an extremely low percentage of fossil-origin products. The oil-free rubber blend was devised to offer a green alternative to the footwear sector.
The entire process is carried out without the use of solvents or chemicals, with huge impact in terms of sustainability.

Project: Soles in eco-sustainable PU
Set up autonomously by the Eurosole R&D division, this project aims to develop a sole in polyurethane using raw materials of plant origin, in other words from renewable and not fossil sources. Eurosuole develops innovative polyol recipes based on renewable raw materials, meters the renewable material content and realises soles with the new material.
